Family Owned

When we say Mitchell Group Australia is a family owned business, we mean just that. Many years ago (in 1949 to be precise), Alex Mitchell started a family business in Flinders Street, Melbourne, known as Payntfast Pty.Ltd. Peter Mitchell joined his father in the business in 1955. In 1957, they developed a cut-to-size Laminex business. 

Today, it’s a third generation business with three family members, Brett Mitchell, Marcus Mitchell and Shane Mitchell working directly within the Company, all sharing the same vision and passion for servicing their cutomers as Alex and Peter Mitchell had all those years ago. Of course, Mitchell’s also has an extended family of over 30 proud employees who similarly share in the Mitchell family vision and passion for servicing the needs of customers.
