Freight / Shipping and Delivery Policy

1.1

We charge a delivery fee based on whether your delivery address is classified as Melbourne metro, country or interstate address. The delivery fee for Melbourne metro is shown in your shopping cart when you place your order. Orders outside our standard delivery radius i.e. Country and or interstate orders must be quoted. You can also select to pick your order up from our warehouse in Dingley, VIC Australia or to have your order picked up by a courier. To do this tick the pick-up option when on the delivery page of check out and the delivery fee will be removed.

Dates & times given for delivery are stated in good faith but are not to be treated as a condition of the sale. Should a specific delivery time be required, extra costs may apply if this if this is possible. No claim shall be made by the buyer on account of late delivery however caused. Late delivery shall not constitute a breach of this contract by the seller, and the buyer shall not be entitled to cancel the contract because of late delivery. 1.3. Additional information regarding our delivery terms set out in clauses 7 of our terms and conditions.

Please note all pickups and delivers are subject to product availability. Customers will be notified if stock ordered isn't currently available and given the option of placing those goods on back order.

Pick up orders- Orders can be picked up Monday-Friday 8.30am-4pm from warehouse in Dingley, VIC Australia. We do not pre pack or pick our orders due to the size of materials therefore customers may experience wait while orders are picked. We don’t supply packaging for pickup orders unless requested. If you require packaging please make note of it on your order or contact our sales team in advance on 9558 0800. Additional charges may apply for packaging.

Deliveries Our standard delivery service includes delivery to Ground Level only. Goods will be delivered to site as long as there are no impeding stairs. As orders can arrive via pallets, customers must be in a position to receive pallets or unload the goods from the pallet without the aid of the drivers. For Panel Order or Bulk orders over 10kg: Customers must be available to assists drivers to offload, or a fee may apply. If goods can’t be unload for any reason, additional fees may apply.

Deliveries will be made to the address nominated by the Customer on the order. If the Customer requests delivery of the goods to a third party, that third party must accept the goods for an on behalf of the Customer.

1.8

For Melbourne metro deliveries we use our own vehicles, if your order is placed before 4pm and in stock it will be delivered next day anytime between 7am- 5pm. We are unfortunately unable to give you an exact delivery time.

1.9

For all other deliveries orders we use freight companies and are subject to their availability. The delivery times made known to the Customer are estimates only and Mitchell Laminates will not be liable for late delivery or non-delivery. Under no circumstances will Mitchell Laminates be liable for any loss, damage or delay occasioned to the Customer arising from late or non-delivery of the goods.

1.9

If we do not receive delivery instructions sufficient to enable us to dispatch the Goods within fourteen (7) days of you being notified that the Goods are ready for delivery, you will, from the 8th day after notification:
• be deemed to have taken delivery of the Goods;
• be liable for reasonable storage charges, payable monthly on demand; and
• assume risk in the Goods.
• Containers (which includes but is not limited to stillages, formers and pallets) in or on which Goods are delivered and for which a deposit charge is made, remain our property. Upon the containers’ return in good order the deposit will be returned to you. We reserve the right to deduct moneys from your deposit to compensate us for any damage to the container(s).
